Riverside Website

Riverside wanted to heavily promote their social networks in addition to highlighting their ongoing series. This site, based on the wonderful Coda Blue template is skinned with each series to match the look and feel.

Riverside Restart

What better way to kick off a new time-slot and small groups than some old school typefaces and retro color schemes?

Immerse

My goal with Immerse was to create a feeling of getting close to the ancient text, hence the look. The faded text in the background is Hebrew, the top being a-mats meaning "Be Strong" and the bottom being e-met meaning "Truth".

Hampton Roads Basketball Academy

Ken Spell works with kids who need to up their game, basketball that is. However, Ken's site had very little game (bad joke I know). In addition to getting him setup on Wordpress and updating his logo (which was originally designed in Powerpoint), I gave the entire site a facelift to show off the incredible work he's doing with kids around Hampton Roads.

Kerri Cushman

Kerri's art is gorgeous, but she had no way of showing it to the world wide web. She wanted a clean and simple site that would show off her paper productions but also make it easy to update. By developing her site using Wordpress with a custom site design we accomplished both.

John Williams

Like many artists I know, John Williams has incredible talent but had no online portfolio to show his stuff. The design was to be simple with little to distract from the ceramics he was known for. A combination of Wordpress and Zenphoto was used for managing the site on the backend.

Longwood Art Department

Longwood University's Art Department had a website built entirely using Fireworks with images. While that's great if you plan on printing it out and taking it with you, it wasn't flexible nor accessible. As my senior project I decided to code the whole thing from scratch using only HTML and CSS, making it as standards-compliant and accessible as possible. I graduated so I must have done something right.

Live Passionately

Virginia changed their motto from "Virginia is for Lovers" to "Live Passionately" and Riverside wanted a series graphic for their winter session on that theme.

Hard Times

The senior pastor at Riverside lives on a road called Dry Bridge, located literally between 2 roads called "Hard Times" and "Mount Moriah". How perfect is that? After taking some shots of the street sign I worked up this series graphic for them.
