Tim Owens

Q: Did you go to school for this?

A: I sure did. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. I’ve learned so much more since then and I’m a firm believer that you’ve got to be willing to learn and grow regardless of whether you get the degree or not.

Q: Do you do this for a living?

A: Not yet, want to hire me? To pay the bills I’m an IT technician at a local university.

Q: That sounds awful.

A: That’s not a question. But really, it’s not. My passion is design and I get to flex those muscles through the freelance work I do. But God designed me for more than this. I’m 28, and I’m just getting started.

Q: Speaking of God, I noticed you do a lot of stuff for churches. Can you tell me more?

A: I’m the Media and Technology guy at a local contemporary church and through that I’ve really begun to find my place as a graphic designer for church media. I create sermon graphics, videos, and web design and development for my church and I’m available to do that for others as well.

Q: Are you expensive?

A: I don’t think so. Could you hire a student or maybe the boy that mows your lawn for cheaper? Perhaps. But I feel like I can offer you a fair price and I hope my portfolio shows you that I’ll accept nothing less than the best for whatever you have in mind.

Q: So how do I get you for my next project?

A: Head on over to the Contact page and fill that out. I’ll be in touch shortly.
